Hi, I recently discovered that you can access a service menu when playing roms- and I was wondering how you would increase or decrease the volume (it's set on standard min 39 max)

Just increase the volume via your own speaker volume control. If you really want to mess with the Sound Test volume, check which MAME buttons have been bind to Volume Up and Down.

Personally, I don't even think that many of the volume settings do much, if nothing at all. It's much better for you to adjust the volume the "regular" way.

Usually, you can just press the "+ or -" keys by the backspace button or on the top of the key pad on the keyboard. This should work without even having to be in the test menu.

Ah- okay, thanks I'll give it a try --if it fails I guess it's the old fashion way
