The rom may be a different version. Did you download it from PlanetEmu? I recommend finding someone with a Full Gens Set in our hub and downloading the game from them.

I normally don't do this........but here, I uploaded the rom to my webspace.

FYI though I'm sure you already know this, both rom filenames must match between users.

Seem's they have done the same thing Geocrappies and US lycos did long ago.......no off-site linking.

ahh problem solved. It Was the stupid sound card. I just enabled the sound and everything starts working again.
