Unofficial Release Version
VisualBoyAdvance (GBA) Emulator - Project Revived!
by: Laterza-Legacy,Inc. & the ThG Team
with the contribution of Rik78
Version: 1.8.1-beta1 Build: 890
Release Date: May 15th, 2008.
-----
NOTES:
-----
This is the Unofficial Release! In the "about" section, it says vba.ngemu.com,
but we have to change that soon... cause we don't have a site yet! But, we might
also keep it, because they are the original owners of course.
This project, called "Revived", started up where the last version (1.8.0-beta3) left
off! So, we will just continue to do it for you! smile.gif
Since the original owner "Forgotten" left the project, we decided to boot-it
up again and restart doing updates and new features...
Anyway, we hope you will enjoy this "Unofficial Release" (yep, that's the new name,
because I can't say it's official. ONLY "Forgotten" has the rights to that!) wink.gif

Somebody still goes around releasing yet another VBA custom build although VBA-M has more or less become the definitive version?

Ok then.

Wondered the same... I should try to get them aboard to VBA-M.
Any contact infos?

This build is a fake.
This seems that this noob Laterza has taken Forgottens (And now started on ours) Vba compiles and is editing the resource data (Menu's, Dialogue boxes and language)

He says he is fixing bugs but he is fixing nothing as he doesn't have the available source code required.

We at the VBA-M board are combatting this by adding encryption to the resource files..

No, do not worry it doesn't mean it won't work for you, it just means we are preventing applications and hex editors from making changes to the compiled source.

Hope 1emu won't support this reshack anymore and stops to report about this.

This is a VBA-M Public service announcement

Its just lame bullshit.

No need to bother with it. Just some complete fake.

I'm never going to bother with any other version than VBA-M, frankly speaking.

What's the best build?

The latest available SVN Test build is most of the time, the best one. ATM build 503 of 7th may.
