Why don't we make a big thingy? (lounge Etc.) and make it for where to get, Emulators, and ROM's, and Patches, and plug-ins?

a lounge for emulators sounds interesting, i like lounges, but I don't know how something like that could be implemented successfully

You should probably browse the forums for a quick 3 minutes before presenting such suggestions. It's funny how people who just join the forum think that they can just waltz in and change things.

We're constantly optimizing the server were on now. The problem is more money. I don't want to be losing money without gaining it back someway if we purchase a dedicated server. And really, the server we're on is basically dedicated for us, as we consume most of its activity.

I just hope were never looking at ads when we log on......

There's a good chance you all will see some soon. I mentioned months back that we signed a contract with a company who would start advertising from November of last year. However, their site launch was delayed, and will most likely launch in a few weeks. It'll probably be a few banner ads, if anything else. There will be no popups, as I hate those with a passion myself. Anyway, after June 1st, we'll be back to no advertisements, unless we form another deal with another company.

The ads will be for a service, but not for products as far as I know.

Most noobs have no idea what IRC is, thats why I think he is suggesting changing it to "Chat".
