If not, fiddle with the save types or buy a DS. I didn't have any luck with the first method, so I went with the second.

no, in that topic i told him only that we have saving problems. Why to buy a DS for ??? money when here we can get a emulator for free? Let's hope that the next, v. 2.6, will have a instant command " save game "

I'm not going to be altruistic about it.. its just a nice piece of hardware. Its especially worth buying since some of those features won't ever be properly emulated on a computer.

Personally I think if you get a DS and manage to get a flash card too then you're getting a good deal anyway. Those things are like magic

Did you remember to pick what type of save chip you want to use. You can access this in the options and then save to ini. You might have to pick a one reset and see it works, and so on.

2.6 is already out. 2.6 and 2.6a even. 2.6a has save type auto-detection.

Sometimes it doesn't work very well though so it's good to check the setting too. For some reason on my pc it doesn't. I'm guessing it has to do with some value saved somewhere from previous versions. Maybe.
