http://forums.sksapps.info/showthread.php?t=6020 - I'll check it out this weekend.

so did you check it out? I was thinking about installing linux looks like pretty sweet but I don't have a keyboard and mouse
2eyez
I"ve checked it out and it's not worth it. I suggest that you wait till a full release is out and not a beta version. People have had problems with the beta and so have I.

I'll probably use Linux in the future. I have no use for it right now. I can play games on my comp already.

Ive messed around with Ubuntu on my ps3 and once I finish configuring the video driver I should have it up and running once I get out of this hospital. curious though. I was thinking after I finish configuring my install is it possible to make like a backup recovery of the operating system on my ps3? kinda like norton ghost or something like that? if so I can upload it to my server at home and share it to make the linix install alittle easier for everyone. if its possible.

Doesn't anyone use Firefox? It has an automatic spell check in it...

I haven't heard a damn thing on this since it's "beta" release. It was looking so good too.

Too bad Firefox doesn't do much for your sh!tty grammar. 'Its' lacks the apostrophe of possession, because 'it's' literally means 'it is'.

Here again. Let us? Someone who apparently missed out on grade school should be a tad nicer, don't you think?

Also beta should only have one set of quotation marks; 'beta'. Doubles are meant for direct quotes, not implied paraphrases, which is how you used the word just then.

Try being less pompous and critical next time. This is the internet ffs.

LOL, how gratuitous Gouken.

Wow... I just got my ass handed to me.

I don't know which dictionary the spell checker uses for reference but it underlines some words which I know to be spelled correctly. Specifically variations of spellings like vaporize and vaporise.

I never really noticed it underlining words as my monitor resolution is set to 1920x1080. Plus my myopia doesn't help either tongue.gif

** Moderately OT **

For those interested, to change dictionary go here to download the pack for your language/region.

I could only find dictionary addons, not the standalone *.dic files. If you want rid of the addon though you can go here - C:\Documents and Settings\*You*\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxx.default\extensions
Your dictionary addon will be in there. Poke around the folders and you will find the *.dic and *.aff files corresponding to your choice eg. en-GB.

Now copy those 2 files over to - C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\dictionaries - and uninstall the addon. Now type about:config in the address bar and navigate to the entry 'spellchecker.dictionary' and modify it to match your choice eg. en-AU. That's that!
