Full Version: Need help Street Fighter III: Fight For The Future
1Emulation.Com > Arcade > CPS

The game runs very slowly, like 10 frames per second. I have an Athlon 64 3200+ (single core) processor, 1.5gigs of ram and a Sapphire x1650 Pro video card.

Here's what my ini file looks like:

;Configuration file for the Capcom System 3 emulator
;All text to the right of ; is ignored (use as comments)

;Add your rom directories here (max 10)
;ROMS subdirectory in the same folder than the exe is always scanned when searching for roms
;(remove the ; form Dir1)
[RomDirs]
Dir1=c:\cps3\roms

[Renderer]
ForceSync=1 ;Force directx to lock to vsync refresh
SoftwareVertexProcessing=1
ForceManaged=1 ;Forces the DX driver to use Managed textures instead of Dynamic. Use it if the emulator
;crashes after loading or doesn't show anything
FilterTilemaps=1 ;Perform bilinear filtering when stretching in fullscreen
FullScreenWidth=640
FullScreenHeight=480

;These options are configured from menus so don't touch
FullMode=3
Sound=0
Frameskip=-1
AutoFull=0
Filter=7

[CPS3]
Region=3

I tried playing with sound disabled but I still had the same framerate. I also tried playing it on my older computer which has a Ati 9600 Pro and Pentium 3 800mhz processor with the same ini file and it runs with like 50 fps.

I'd like to play the game on my faster computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Change ForceManaged=1 to 0 like it should be. Unless the emulator crashes of course (i.e. read what the text says and act accordingly). Managed textures are extremely slow in some cases.

ForceManaged=0 now and the problem persists sad.gif. But thanks for your reply.
