Hi, im trying to play Metal Slug 3 using Kawaks 1.59, i configured everything, controls, paths, etc....
and i try loading it and it says: Couldn't find 256-c1.bin (5a79c34e) for game , ERROR. its not the unecrypted one. please help?

We can't get the rom for you as its against our rules.

But I can tell you, if you find the MSLUG3.ZIP for MAME, from a reputable place, you will have the right files.

downloaded the latest one, it still says the same thing. and mame opens in a MS-DOS file then closes.

Huh? I didn't say to get MAME. I said to get mslug3 roms that would be used with MAME.

Nope. Put the zipfile (as is) into your roms folder (or whatever folder you've designated for roms).

You do have the Neo-Geo BIOS, right?

P.S. MAME doesn't "open in MS-DOS". You used the regular Windows command-line driven MAME, which expects arguments before doing anything. Double-clicking the executable is the same thing as running it without arguments, which in turn does nothing.

neogeo.zip is the file right? its also in the ZIP file still to. and in my ROMS folder.
and ok for the MAME thing.

No, at least I can't think of any.

No, not really. It should just work. For you, it just crashes. For some reason.

yep, just start it, and when its done loading it closes.
EDIT: it will close on any neo-geo rom, not just metal slug 3.
