Okay, i only had this for about 2 weeks abd I must ask cuz i've been tryint to figure it out but....
How can I completely turn off the wii without to pullin the plug?
I knoe it does that little cheap version of sleep when u press power but when i woke up it was warm and I just dont like my consoles to be warm at any point.
So is there a way I can SHUTDOWN my Wii or will i have to pull the plug every night?

Hey something isn't right.... EM has a Wii, and this thing was shut off but it still has the red light on the button. We haven't played it in over a week, and I just checked it..... it's cool to the touch. All we did, was use the power button on the 'mote.

Sometimes, my PS2 gets crazy hot, and I go ahead and use canned air, and that usually works well enough. But since it is off, I don't see how it should be using any significant power, as to keep it warm. That is strange.....

HMmmm... but i cant get the red light through the remote///
it always turns yellowish or orange!
The only time i get the red light is when un plug and replug it.
It keeps turning orange wen i press the griggin power button!

Found the problem~
The problem is when u activate the wii connect standy\by...
As long as this is actviated ur wii will never truly turn off...
Once i disabled it it runed off completly.

Oh, it was a setting in the options?
