The English translation for the PSX version of Tales of Phantasia was released on the 25th after being "in the works" for several years. The PSX version sports several improvements over the SNES original, including a fully arranged soundtrack, game engine of Tales of Destiny and a host of other things.

Oh yes. I played the SNES version about halfway though (I think; stopped before the first fight with Dhaos). I guess the SNES version is in the backburner for good now, but I intend to finish both versions.
The voice acting and the included FMVs are <3.
