Gods was a "thinking man's platformer" made by the Bitmap Brothers for the Amiga. I consider it as one of my favourite games ever, if not my favourite. The gameplay focuses more on exploration and puzzle solving, with lots of devious little secrets to be found. It's a real gem of a game, in my opinion.

The new remake allows you to play it on your PC under Windows, and it is pretty cool. It is a near complete replica of the original, but with some more colourful and detailed graphics. You can always play with the older GFX if you so wish.

Ok, tried to run this game, but it was not working. How to get it run on an XP?

Hmmm...I downloaded the latest beta version (6.5 meg), extracted it, and ran the batch file called "Gods full screen."

Once it didn't want to start, but the other times it did. It can take a few seconds to initially boot up.

Maybe try switching off any other programs you got running?

Hmm, there seems to be a bug where the game will hang when you completed a world. But still, it's all good and bring a tear to my eyes playing through this classic. Still as hard as hell

I've had a PC version of this game for many years... what is better about this remake? :puzzled:

The remake is of the Amiga version, which I honestly thought was heaps better then the PC version.

I thought they are the same? I play the PC version yrs ago and this Amiga remake seems the same!
