I'm making a test homebrew that captures raw packets and records it as a file.

But i found that premiscious mode currently doesn't support full capture.


So I decided to go a way around.

I heard if my DS is connected to an AP and set wifi settings to premiscious mode, I'll be able to capture all packets in that AP.

I had this idea, what if I fake my DS as it's connected to an AP(by altering register values). Will I be able to capture all packets in that AP? (without accosiations with AP)
