I got it, but I have yet to play anything due to my Steam's killing itself and the UT3 demo coming out.

I preordered it the day it was possible and played TF2 since the first day. I even played against Valve. However, I haven't played the game in over a week due to the amount of work I have and Ep. 2 and Portal took precedence.
Also, I don't play on pubs.

The first day I had it (I didn't pre-order, I should have though) i played on some server with a whole bunch of people from YTMND which was pretty cool. Fyrestorm was in there haha. Too bad i'm still not that good (Getting pretty decent though)

Shoot, no wonder he hasn't released vol. 17 of the YTMND soundtrack yet. He's flocking distracted... ;/

I got it for the 360

I heard the 360 one is buggy/laggy. Any truth to that?
I wouldn't worry about it though as its probably something easily patched. (which reminds me, they said they are updating the source engine to be multi-core compatible, I wonder if that applies to the 360 too)

I havn't seen any bugs or lag yet. It's hard to find a game though, Not many playing I guess.

the orange box was pointless and crappy the only two things i bought in it was
Team Fortress 2
Episode 2
and I bought them seperated from the orange box.
I don't want my steam clustered with stupid stuff like Portal and all that crap.

Yeah I play TF2 regularly on PC. My handle is [GQF]Buttstroke. Do xbox players play on the same servers as pc players? I wouldn't imagine they do because they'd be at a disadvantage with a controller. ;[

Haha, what a flocking idiot. So you paid $29.95 for HL2:Ep. 2 and $29.95 for TF2, so $60 in total, when the Orange Box costs $50? You aren't forced to install Portal. And that's not even taking into consideration how great of a game Portal is.
Haha...man. I am truly amazed if you actually did this. This forum needed its token idiot and you are it now! Congrats!
veristic, XBOX players do not play against PC players.

Oh god. Valve had better release that crap for the PC version. I don't care about the graphical enhancements. I love to listen to the commentary.

Uh, I'm pretty sure they have that commentary on the PC Orange Box as well. A least I've seen it in Portal as well as Episode 2 if my memory serves me right.

Oct 27 2007, 01:25 AM
Yeah, Portal and Ep. 2 have them. So does Ep. 1. I've listened to all of it. I'm asking about the original HL2. Did they go back and record commentary and retroactively add it back to the 360 version.

I just checked and NO HL2 doesn't have commentary, I could've sworn I saw it though

When is the PC update coming out that enables multi-threading? I'm dying for that to see how much of a performance boost I get. (especially with my quad core on the way)
