No, they're save state abusers, let's see em do it on real hardware. I can beat Super Metroid in under an hour with 70%+ item collection, on real hardware, but I doubt most speedruns (Besides ScarletRed and others I'm very familiar with) are not using save states.

Seen alot of speedruns on acutal hardware.

Also the SMB3 vid was proven to be faked looooong time ago. The guy who did it admitted to using savestates.
