i got a smartjoy plus a while back, decided i wanted to use it now, but i can't seem to get it to work. i got it hooked up and installed the driver and whatnot, but i can't get any of the buttons to work. when i go into the properties screen, the joysticks don't move the axes, and none of the buttons are registered. anyone know what the problem might be?

I've heard that a good number of SmartJoys fail to work as intended. Why this happens, I can't say. Poor design, most likely. Personally, I'd steer clear of these adapters and use a good PC gamepad instead.
