Can anyone direct me to a modified WinKawaks? I need the modified one that can detect the newest roms like KOF2003, SSVspecial and SVC Chaos.

Uh, why would you need a modified Kawaks? The official Kawaks 1.57 already supports all Neo-Geo romsets.

Kawaks fails at emulating KOF2001's graphics in Console Mode, so I'm not touching it. No Universe BIOS support either

I'll stick with MAME and eventually the new Nebula when ElSemi gets it done.

Yeah, ElSemi made an announcement not long ago that he's still working on Nebula getting the last sets working and fixing bugs. No ETA though.

I honestly found it kind of sad at how many threads are almost years old.

Indeed, it is sad. Such is the state of NeoGeo emulation.

Don't worry about it. Unfortunately, we've had cases with weeks of inacitivity in forum posts on different areas of 1Emulation.
