I only look in the blogs about once a week, I think the posts in there
should appear with the rest in the last 8 posts.
Anyone agree or disagree?

I'm not sure that is needed, after all, there is that "Latest Blog Entries" on the main page with the last 5 entries. 
Agreed. It's something I wanted to talk to GC about. If blogs are not in the open like that then no one will check them.
