I looking for a snes emulator that will work great on my windows xp.
I also like to cheat alot so it has to have a cheat code option in the menu.

My monitor has a resolution of 1024 x 768 32 bit

What year are you currently living? 1999? There has been a Windows version ever since 1.0 came out. Hell, even the SDL/Linux port has existed for a good while now.

ZSNES tried the latest version keeps messing up my games.

SNESx9 handles fine but it has no game genie cheat thing

If there was one that ran fine like snesx9 that had a game genie cheat thing then I would be happy.

What do you mean by 'messing up your games'? If your roms are good, it won't mess up your games.

Zsnes indeed. It ought to work fine on nearly every game (a few I know that have problems are Pinball Fantasies, AOF2, Fatal Fury Special and Lupin the third (last one only in some recent betas))

And I kinda believe him about ZSNES not working, it didn't work for my friend either, but the same ROMs he used worked for me.

SA-1 support in the recent ZSNES WIPs is broken but should work in 1.42. And Star Ocean is still too fast the last time I checked.

My roms work fine I found this emulator named snesgt works great but again no cheat thing

I think someone should make a add cheat patch to this emulator cause it can run all the games I have if only we can make it cheat.

Note: this was znes 1.42 that I was having troubles with.

Me smells lack of proper Direct X. SNESGT appears to be GDI, which would explain why it works for him.

But the latest version of znes keeped freezing games or close out due to errors. I think we should try and make a better version of SNESGT all we had to do is add a cheat option.

just use snes 9x this is what i use it works fine on all 9x and above OS'

I like SNES9X better than ZSNES but i use ZSNES sometimes
