Hi

Iam just wondering how to use libdswifi to make a multiplayer game. Are there any docs available? or an example how to make 2+ DS's to communicate and maybe how to send a DS download and play.

thanks
Grey
I would strongly suggest scouring the web for UNIX socket programming. I based my code largely off of this tutorial. (I had never touched low level network programming before Dissonance) I also used this directory.

So when I developed Dissonance, I coded a test application alongside it, so I basically wrote a Linux internet radio client in addition to Dissonance. wink.gif Anyways, good luck with your project.

Thanks!

Just two more questions:

1. Is internet and DS to DS connection two total different things? in setup and functions to use etc.

2. Have someone been able to send a binary to a DS.

DS to DS isn't supported yet, a router would need to be in between.

Binaries have been sent to the DS, there is a HTTP downloader out there and bafio's UDP download client.

Definitley! Can anyone provide a link to this? My gf doesn't have a USB port on her laptop. (Well, there is one, but there's problems, long story)

This program would solve many of my headaches!

With due apologies if the author did not want this posted.

I don't have a CF or SD card reader for my DS, so I'm unable to test it myself.

I'll also note that DragonMinded's DSOrganize has a built in download function to download homebrew from a list he's assembled on his server to a supported CF/SD card.
See DSOrganize here: http://www.dragonminded.com/?loc=ndsdev/DSOrganize
