I am getting GBAMP for free using Lik-Sang payback points and have a 1gb sd card but i dont want to buy a compact flash card if i can just get this

its about $50

OH GOD PLESE TELL ME THAT WOULD, I have more that one media and that would be awesome. could actually use diff ones for specific media (have SD for mp3 player I used before GBAMP and still use on occasion, and CF I nabbed for the GBAMP)

Yes, but only SD compatible homebrew would work. I dont know if the standard gbamp os would work though.

why only SC homebrew?

If it works, It works 100%, so sc compatible homebrew has nothing to do with this.
The only way to know is to try.

seeing how SuperCard of most offenly reserred to as "SC" the thought of SD would be pretty hard to come by so quickly, but the SD info is nice to know though. Except that it works in CF cameras which in turn would only use the CF Drivers needed for them.......

I still don't get it...
It'll be just an SD card with the CF card layout.
It'll work just fine in ANY CF device.
With CF software/firmware/hardware/etc.
I don't see why you would need special SD software.

Wrong. It sort of "emulates" the CF, so there's absolutely no need for SD compatible homebrew.
