I figured I'll make a new thread on Online Gaming for PC/Consoles. This is similar to the Post your alias... thread but this is a more updated one now. It just basically allows members to see what games other people play if they want to play online with each other.

Hamachi Server (http://www.hamachi.cc/) - Can play any game that has lan with other people. Only thing is that it might not be as full as playing on the internet, but it may have less lag.
And yeah, you can play downloaded games on hamachi. Just don't discuss links or anything there

Just bumping this a bit. for anyone that's still interested. I might run a few events with this such as Quake 3 night, Doom 2 Night, Flatout, or something. We'll have to see (possibly in spring break).

I just starting playing America's Army, it's OK. Not the perfect game, but it's more like CS on the UT engine.

I just re-installed UT99, that game is still kicking butt after all this years.

Just a note, if you're using hamachi. You might want to check out their forums (find other gaming networks and stuff). but the main reason is that you can check for scheduled downtimes so they don't interrupt your gaming time

Basic training isn't that bad; the Special Forces training is much worse!

I visited ACI Killing Grounds and ACI Threat Removal Unit. Both servers had Border but I didn't see you on either of them.

I changed server again and I'm on the Dum and disorderly server now. There needs to be easier contact on this a bit.

I know of Wolfenstein...just not by that variant name. I don't play PC games to begin with.

Are you sure about that? Don't you need the FULL Return to Castle Wolfenstein before you can play ET?

Originaly, ET was going to be a expansion for RTCW. Then they just decided to release it as freeware.

No you don't need Return to Castle Wolfenstein in order to play ET.

I suggest you enable punkbuster when you play the game, and join xp save servers, or else you will never get the good weopons since each game ranks you by xp.

Here are some of the servers I play on

72.232.52.232 - normal original campaign
212.187.247.46 - campaign random
63.211.110.137 - random maps
83.246.120.77 - only fuel dump

They are all xp saves, I know that only the top one is super xp save which means you can come back and still have that rank.

O and Diso, I don't have Doom2 .

I have Doom 2 but I don't know how to run it on Windows XP.

You should be able to download Doom 2 easily since the whole game is very small compared to the current games now.

I didn't bother looking for a server on the west coast, only the ones me and my friends play on, sorry. I will look today though and post up what I find.

I have both. But I'm playing GR1 at the moment. Finally getting the hang of it a bit.

I wish they hadn't cancelled GR 2 for the PC... It would have been SOOOO cool!

GR1 was my first fps game >.>. It's what got me into the genre lol.
