I'm using a logitech joypad thats modelled after the ps2 controller, I'm having a hard time coming up with a playable control scheme. i mostly play first person shooters if that matters.

any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Would this controllre be the Rumblepad?

Anyway, I'll use the P"2 button layout, because that's what I'm most familiar with (I'm sure you can switch those so that they match the buttons that the logitech has since the layout seems to be the same).

This is wht I've been thinking (general purpose, not just for FPSes, since FPSes might need some button tweaks)

C-buttons = Right analong Stick
Analog Stick = Left Analog Stick
D-Pad = D-Pad
L = L2 or L1
R= R2 or R1
Z = R1 or R2
A = X
B = Square

I'd think that this layout wouold work well in FPSes, provided that the games has a selectable control scheme that uses the C-buttons to looks around and the Analog Stick for strafing and forwards/backwards.

Of course, you could make a switch like say, C-buttons = X, Square, Triangle, O and A = L3 and B = R3

Any help?
