The Segacon V2.0 is a program that allows you to use your PC as a controller for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive. This is no ordinary controller. It will record macros and play them back for you. If you can solder, and maybe even you cant, you can make the cord that this program uses. If you want to learn how to make this cord, click the Cord button on the navigation bar. once you are done making the cord, you can download the SegaCon v2.0 program by clicking on the Download button on the navigation bar.

What do you think?

I have looked under my pillow, but i couldnt find the sense of it.
What would you need macros to controll a gameing console for ?
Weirdy
to make em do one command with one button

for ex., you can press one key to do "down, down-right, right + C" which is a comman fighting move command (mainly on street fighter games tongue.gif )
Samor
a little complex way of doing it, but it's funny.
Shibathedog
i can see it now-

People downloading massive macros

PRESS BUTTON A TO BEAT ENTIRE GAME WITH ENDING ONE!

PRESS BUTTON B TO BEAT ENTIRE GAME WITH ENDING TWO!!

Just sit back and watch!

It's not like that isn't already possible with emulators anyway. I know in ZSNES you can program a key combo for whatever you want, and I've made some pretty long ones for fun.
Shibathedog
yeah, but now its possible on your actual genesis

I might try this because i have an old mouse i ripped the cable off of that uses this cord, and an old printer serial cable, but the mouse doesnt have all the pins so i dunno

Hmm i still think its useless. Solder a wire to have my comp play button makros. Ok, besides i can sit back and see Sonic beat each game, once someone hacked this together, i can't imagine, sprinting to my PC and hit the Fatality Macro button on every "Finish him!" smile.gif
