Yes, it's worth getting, although many plugins don't display the battlefiled right (Jabo's D3D plugins for example). It is playable, but you have to fiddle with different plugins to get the best results.

You might have some luck with Rice's Video plugin, but it never really worked well for me (I have an ATi Radeon 9800 Pro).

Yeah, Rice's plugin should be the best for it, since Jabo's plugin do not display it right.

oi agozer i downloaded rice's plugin right... then i put it on...
then it runs much better like 1% choppy other than that its great thx alot
My experience with Rice's plugin is that it's the worst I've ever tried. I originally used Glide64 on my Voodoo 5, and everything worked great. Then I got my Geforce 6800 Go, and tried Rice's video because it had been widely recommended. I don't remember any N64 games running correctly.
Jabo's, on the other hand, has been pretty good so far except where this game is concerned, and that's a shame.

This is going to sound weird...
I have played Every US N64 title, EXCEPT Ogre Battle 64. (and those crappy barbie games and stuff like that)
I have a feeling im missing out on something....

Yes, you should play it since Ogre Battle on any system kicks ass. If you're into T-RPGs that is.
Ogre Battle 64 was probably the best game (or tied in with Perfect Dark) on the console. Unfortunately, it's also been one of the last games to run properly on N64 emulation. As it's been said here, Jabo's plugin doesn't run it properly, leaving non-Voodoo users without much alternative.
I wouldn't mind getting back into playing it at some point, but I really hate having to switch around plugins on a per-game basis. At least on pj64, since 1964 had the option to store per-game plugin configurations.
