Wouldnt it be cool if you could have a program where you could select consoles from a list and then view the games with covers and manuals before of while your running them ?
Just an idee I would do it myself if I only knew how to program )

I think there are some multi-emulator frontends that have the features you speak of. Naturally, a frontend isn't an emulator, and MESS is currently the only emulator that tries to emulate computers and consoles in a single emulator.

Some emulators also have support for artwork packages that have the features you speak of.
FreezeSMS for example has artwork/info for NES/SMS/GG stuff.

I'd really like to have a single frontend like you're suggesting, where it could be totally customizable. Box art, cart scans, manuals etc. For any system you want to add to the FE.

FreezeSMS is basically an emulator+frontend package (the emulator itself is renamed). anyways, sounds like a multiemulator frontend is what will suit your needs (while i dont use those, im fairly sure they exist)
