Thats actually old theres a newer one. Whats the proof hes lying? it doesnt look like he ripped off another dsemu. Really though the fake site and the inability to give it to people is annoying.

Still waiting on it. They released one but they messed up while raring it. Im slowing loosing hope in it but until they released the fixed one i cant say. I can say there were no viruses >>

This and that tunneling program on
http://jardrule.tk (down right now) both look pretty skeptical.
Of course, as the real progress on legitimate applications gets farther the number of spoofs, fakes, and just plain crap stuff will increase.

Man i think the programming gods hate me. Cause of all my reformatting i lost Visual C++. That had all the standard headers i need to recompile this emu. I guess the SDK pack would have it all except i cant install it cause of some random dll thing

. Oh and i lost the Visuall C++ cd x_X. Ill just keep looking...

When I looked at the thread in my first post I thought, "Here we go again", since no screenshots, and no-one could say it exists or works. The thing in it's favour is a different name. Should it become available, and working, then it's obviously a good thing and I would apologise. But, until then... I'm kinda skeptical.

Well there was one release and it didnt work because he packed the wrong dlls. At least thats what he said. They deleted the post with the release in it. Also Two9A noticed the dlls were quakes dlls.

Take a second look and there is a screenshot... of the emu with no rom loaded... looks different to what we've seen before. I saved and blew up the picture but unable to make out any of the words. Can't do any more until I get back home.

Robbert the post your reading is very old. The newest post actually had a release that i downloaded and tried. It didnt work but that was because he rared up teh wrong stuff. So far there were no viruses or spyware. But because of the bad raring it doesnt work. They deleted the post cause of the non working thing but keep an eye on that site.....

How does someone RAR the wrong DLLs and not look over it before releasing it on the internet?
NukeFall
Apr 6 2005, 01:31 AM
Exactly. Also the whole thing about Two9A finding out that they were all the same dll from different names and also happend to all be the Quake enigne dll (or something like that) is making me very skeptical

Ok got it.
The DLLs are all identical and useless.
It needs Quesa.DLL which can be obtained from SourceForge
After that, it started up. Most functions missing due to the above DLL probs.
I clicked to open a rom and it has a "Compatibilty List" showing 29 games and if they work or problems they have.
Not much else I can do until those fixed DLLs arrive.
Here is a screen dump that is readable -->

I don't think so.
I don't understand why people feel the need to release fake stuff

I dont see how it can automatically be fake. DarkFader released the first dumps right. Well whats the off chance some of these people figures out how to do it

. Also theres 4 people working on it from what i can gather. Thats a larger taskfroce then these emus. So whats not to say it could turn into something good. Checking around I see more people then just DarkFader who have dumped ds roms >>

I'm pretty sure it's a fake, becuase no new DS roms have been circulating throughout the scene, else we've probobly know.

It *IS* Fake, I was even the one who verified that it was part of quake3 for Two9A, we battled him on the forum but he promptly to refused answering our questions after it got a bit over his head, as it clearly doesn't work at all.
Also, jadrule's DSLinkup is FAKE as me and Two9A thought, the website says that it is indeed a hoax, as part of an ellaborate april fool's day joke. I might find the url of the post where he revealed the workings of the scam if I can find it.
