Here's the Street Fighter Canon Plot Guide. It's very long but it has a timeline in there. All answers about Street Fighter plot and characters are in there.

If only K'anon Man were here to help...

Were exactly? I did you mean 'There's'?

Yup, K` would know the answer.
Gryph
Oops. I always make that mistake. I thought I posted the link...

AkihiroZi
Well, thanks there, admid can close topic now, answer goten.
Diso
Street fighter alpha 1 has nothing to do with the storyline.

Get that through ur brains biggrin.gif
Weirdy
according to the K'anon man: according to capcom, sfz2(sfa2)'s storyline was meant to replace the storyline of sfz(sfa)
AkihiroZi
How do you REPLACE a story line....exactly....thats weird and just confuses people, like the way DIGIMON season 1 and 2 was REPLACED by season 3, then that was replaced by Season 4, after season 4 begun I said f*** it, to confusing....
Weirdy
to add to that confusion, some of the endings on sfz2(sfa2) didn't even happen!
AkihiroZi
What?! STOP THE MADNESS!! Can we all just stick to the stories in the movies were the alpha series have nothing to do with the original series?
Gryph
The Alpha Series takes place before the actual series. Hence the word Alpha.
AkihiroZi
O well, capcom screws up yet another storyline for there fighting series, does anyone know the storys behind darkstalkers and red earth? Were the hell is SF 4!!!
Gryph
Check out www.gamefaqs.com for game storylines. They might have the Darkstalkers one.
AkihiroZi
O well, I'm not going to bother, its pretty much a thing capcom is pointing at us , there storys barely count in my view, just the gameplay. Megaman a exeption but thats about it.
Diso
I say RE storyline is pretty stable
darkmage479
or Devil May Cry, which, by the way, part 3 is gonna 0wn

Edit - to clarify, SFA2 could be thought of as SFA revision 1. It was Capcom's attempt to make up for the original and has the same plot, etc. The story goes

SFA2 - SF1 - SFA3 - SFII - (RIVAL SCHOOLS) - SFIII
Agozer
What does Rival Schools have to do with all of that?
Daeval
Rival schools is actually connected to street fighter by fluff? Sweet! This I have to look into...
Gryph
I thought the only connection between Street Fighter and Rival Schools was that Sakura makes an appearance?

Only one man can show us the path...WHERE IS K'ANON MAN?! laugh.gif
Agozer
Well, yeah, Sakura is the only logical connection to me, since Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 2 & 3 come before Rival Schools.
darkmage479
I read a story guide that attempted to place Darkstalkers, Street Fighter, and Rival Schools on the same timeline. Weird stuff indeed.

And yes, Sakura is the only connection between SF and RS, but it still fits in the timeline.
AkihiroZi
Ok, we all get the picture, sf and rs are in common by sakura, sfa 2 broke away sfa1 and came before sf1, (Wich is weird because SAGAT got his scar in sf1 and has it in SFA 2) and capcom makes the most expensive games ever. I went to EB games the other day and I saw a HUGE box, the price was $200 and it came with a video game, a controler with more buttons then a flocking keyboard and bigger then my already big moniter, a book telling you instructions for every button , and the video game itsself, and in the corner of the front of it shows CAPCOM in big yellow letters, anybody ever heard of this game? The controlers huge because your inside of a robot in the game.
Agozer
That wouldn't be a *certain* Bill-BOX game would it? I don't know if it was made by Capcom though.

I'm thinking Steel Batallion.
AkihiroZi
Ahh, there we go, Steel Betalion, thats the one, yeah thats the name, and it was made by capcom when I checked with the employ's, is it a long game? I don't want to waste $200 on a 5 hour game, that bit** better last a week or two.

Well, like you, I have not played it that to that pricetag. I did play it in a fair once... One huge plasma screen + that controller that came with the game = Serious gaming immersion.

It's fun, but way past my budget. Only for hardcore mech fans with huge wallets.
AkihiroZi
Well, I'm not the one with the budjet, my parents are, remember im 14....., so thank god im not paying for it, but my X-Box is in my living room with the big screen t.v smile.gif , go mom.
