For some reason, whenever I play my Paper Mario ROM it is almost always flickering! GoodN64 says it's compatible though. I wonder if maybe i need some plugins to help it run better? Could anyone help me with this problem?

Try Using "1964" And "Rice's Video Plugin 5.50"

QUOTE (666Ghost @ Dec 21 2004, 12:01 AM) I tried it before (I think) and didn't get flickering... Need to try it again. EDIT: You're right, it does flicker. 1964 it is then. It didn't flicker in that at least. This post has been edited by Agozer: Dec 20 2004, 10:10 PM |

Well, as they say, Nintendo64 emulation is far from perfect.

I'm pretty sure there is a work around to that problem. Try searching the forums at the Project64 homepage.

Thanx guyz, I'm switching to 1964 for anything that doesn't work on Project64. Kinda sux tho, I had no idea PJ64 was so substandard when I downloaded it. O well...

O well... I really wouldn't call Project64 "substandard" as it is the most compatible N64 emulator around. Sadly, like I said before, N64 emulation under any emulator is far from complete/perfect. |
